Sunday (registration day)

  • 10:00 Coach from Cardiff departs for Conwy (pre-booking only)

  • 12:00-17:00 Registration, kit check and recommended bag drop

  • 18:00 Mandatory participant briefing

  • 19:00 Welcome meal (participants and event team only)


Monday (day one)

  • 05:00-05:30 Bag drop for overnight dry bag and resupply dry bag

  • 05:30 Participants gather in Conwy Castle

  • 05:50 Official start line photograph

  • 06:00 Mass start - your journey south begins

  • 15:00-20:00 Afternoon snacks

  • 18:00-22:00 Evening meal

  • 22:00 Course closure time

Tip

Don't rush out of the castle - savour the moment! Your chip time will begin when you punch the start box upon leaving Conwy town walls a little while later.

Tuesday–Friday (days two–five)

  • 06:00-09:00 Staggered starts

  • 22:00 Course closure time

 

Tip

Staggered starts - participants are allocated a 30 minute start window each day, based on their previous day’s time, in which they should aim to start


Saturday (day six)

  • 06:00-09:00 Staggered (or chasing) starts

  • 09:00 Cardiff Castle open to members of the public

  • 12:00 Event site open to spectators, friends and family

  • 13:00 First finishers expected

  • 17:30 Films being shown

  • 18:00 Castle closed to the public (supporters can collect a wristband from the info point if they wish to remain)

  • 18:30 - 22:00 Celebratory meal served

  • 19:30 Prizegiving ceremony

  • 22:00 Course closure time and bar close

Sunday (departure day)

  • 09:00 Coach departs Cardiff Castle for those parked in Conwy

  • 14:00 Estimated time of arrival in Conwy
