Not sure if you’re ready yet?
If you’re unsure yet if you are ready for the long days, there is also the option to complete the Hatchling course. Take on the same mountain journey, with the superb Welsh scenery and the incredible camaraderie of the overnight camps, while enjoying shorter days. It’s perfect as a stepping stone to the full Montane Dragon’s Back Race® or as an epic ultra adventure in its own right.
There is complete flexibility, so you don’t have to decide when you sign up if you’re going to do the full course or the Hatchling. You can also switch to the Hatchling from the full course mid-race, if you miss a cut-off or decide to take on the shorter days.
