Five weeks to go - video update

It is exactly five weeks before the 2012 Dragon’s Back Race™!

During the last week of July, the event Race Director, Shane Ohly, has been busy in Wales making the final checks on the course before the event. This video was taken on the afternoon of Saturday 28th July at the final checkpoint before the finish at Carreg Cennen Castle a few miles away. It’s really aimed at the competitors to help with their motivation over the coming weeks.

We know from many of the emails and questions asked by the competitors that a few of them are nervous about the scale of the challenge offered by the Dragon’s Back Race™. Now seems like a great opportunity to remind the competitors that there has been a massive effort over the last 18 months to make sure the course is as runable and enjoyable as possible - the course is designed to flow through the mountains on an incredible journey and that there will be a massive support team at the event to give everyone the greatest chance of success.
